It's calm on the Mediterranean coast.
In retrospect, all that whining about being ill-prepared for rain now seems quite juvenile compared to what others are experiencing in the world.
The news in France has been broadcasting unreal images from Sandy's path, notably and personally significant, from New York City, one of my favourite places in what I've experienced of the world. Hope everyone stays safe!
