Ombrelles Bestagno

The dark weather here in Mississauga makes me want to revisit Ombrelles Bestagno in Vieux Nice, where I got my French-made umbrella as a souvenir of my visit to the Republic.

le MAMAC

Yves Klein. If you're remotely intersted in art, you can't get very far in Nice without eventually encountering the area-born artist. Here he is in all his Blue-Epoch Glory au Musée d'Art Moderne et d'Art Contemporain (MAMAC).

Le Musée International d'Art Naïf Anatole Jakovsky

Haha, rain! Now that I've suited up with some rubber boots and a new French-made, French Bulldog umbrella, je m'en fiche, même s'il pleut! I just look ridiculous with my pattern on pattern on pattern ensemble, but you better bet I stay dry. Well, for the most part...

Villefranche-sur-Mer

Despite the ocean being so near, I, surprisingly have yet to go for a swim. When I do though, it'll likely be here, in Villefranche or neghbouring Beaulieu.

One of the spots I found while waiting for the short films and wandering, was Galerie Helenbeck, which deserves its own post...

I spent the whole weekend at the 12th Festival of short film in Nice.

And I finally got to visit Saturday afternoon. It was breath-taking! Easily my favourite stop in all of Paris.
