Ombrelles Bestagno

The dark weather here in Mississauga makes me want to revisit Ombrelles Bestagno in Vieux Nice, where I got my French-made umbrella as a souvenir of my visit to the Republic.

Selling umbrellas, parasols and canes for more than 35 years, Bestagno is jam-packed with goods of all designs and colours and its staff are always eager show off features of well-made products---no superstitions here!

And if you ever pass the shop after closing, you can expect it to be filled, and I mean filled, with open umbrellas to tempt your return.
